The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired the rights to forward Jack Pridham from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. This trade was announced by vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois. Jack Pridham, a 20-year-old forward, is coming off an impressive season with the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he played 65 games and scored 46 goals, ranking second among all OHL skaters. His offensive prowess also included 90 points, with 16 of those goals coming on the power play, which tied for third in the league. Pridham's playoff performance was equally noteworthy, as he led his team with 15 assists and 17 points in 18 playoff games. He also played a crucial role in Kitchener's Memorial Cup Championship victory, scoring a goal and adding two assists in the final game.
